School costs

The cost for my 6th graders mandated school supplies were nearly $100 and he is using last years back pack because I am so mean.

Today I register him for classes---$112. No extra-curricular, no lunches, no pictures....just basic classes.

There will be other fees throughout the years for needed books, field trips...

Don't get me wrong---I like the school and the education. However given all of the money they already get, a reasonable evaluation of the fiscal books would allow for the same great education without massive student fees.

I have one more kid to go---I'm already cringing.
