Sendik’s to Open New Grocery Store in Waukesha

It's one of five new Sendik's grocery stores that will open in the Milwaukee area over the next 18 months.

WAUKESHA -- Sendik's grocery stores are making a major push into the metro Milwaukee regional market, and have announced they're planning an all-new grocery store for Waukesha.

According to a report from the Biz Times, Sendik’s Food Markets announced today that it will open its first Waukesha location in the former Sentry Foods store at the Meadowbrook Shopping Center. The family-owned grocer will lease the 49,000-square-foot space, at 701 Meadowbrook Drive, and convert it to a full-service Sendik’s Food Market.

The Sentry Foods store will close Nov. 30 after 15 years in business. It was one of two Sentry stores in Waukesha,the Biz Times has reported.
