'Severely Intoxciated' Woman Rescued At Waukesha Walmart: Report
Police in Waukesha say a woman had a .40 blood alcohol concentration in the Walmart bathroom. She was taken into custody for her own safety.

WAUKESHA, WI — Police in Waukesha say a 26-year-old woman was taken into custody for her own safety following an incident at Walmart.
According to Waukesha Police call logs, officers responded to the Waukesha Walmart at just after 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 14 on a report of a woman who was found to be intoxicated and in the bathroom of the store.
Police said officers arrived and determined that the woman was severely intoxicated. A preliminary breath test revealed that she had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.40 - which is a life-threatening level of intoxication. When speaking with the woman, police say the admitted to taking medications, and left Waukesha Memorial Hospital against medical advice.

Police say she was taken into custody for emergency detention due to her severe intoxication level. A crisis team was called to the scene, and the woman agreed to undergo voluntary treatment, police call logs stated.
