Sex Offender 'Silly The Clown' Being Released Into Waukesha

A man who worked as "Silly the Clown" is also a registered sex offender in Waukesha and is set to be released back into the community.

WAUKESHA, WI — A man who worked as "Silly the Clown" is also a registered sex offender in Waukesha and is set to be released back into the community.

According to authorities, Ronald Schroeder Sexually Assaulted his adult ex-girlfriend after she had passed out after a night of drinking with him back in 2007. He was charged and convicted of second-degree sexual assault on March 6, 2008. Police say he took pictures of the assault and kept them on his computer. He also physically abused this known, adult victim. He was arrested on a parole violation in 2013 and has been in prison until this week.

Schroeder will be temporarily residing at 540 Bluemound Road, Waukesha, WI in room #5 until permanently placed. He will be a life registrant with the sex offender registry and will be submitting to face-to- face registration with law enforcement.
