Silverado vs. Motorcyle Hit-And-Run; ​Fireworks Family Burns Car

A hit-and-run accident involed a woman driving a Silverado and hitting a man on a motorcycle. A family lighting off fireworks had an uh-oh.

Fireworks Family Burns Car

A neighbor on the 100 block of S. Porter Ave. who was excited about having family in town reportedly let off several "large" fireworks just before 10 p.m. Saturday.
Unfortunately, one of the fireworks landed on a neighbor's car, causing burn marks. The neighbor called police, who responded to the scene.
According to police reports, the fireworks-igniting neighbor did the neighborly thing and agreed to pay for repairs to his neighbor's vehicle.
He was also cited for a municipal fireworks violation by Waukesha police.

Silverado vs. Motorcyle Hit-And-Run

Waukesha police responded to the 1500 block of Summit Ave. just before 2 p.m. Saturday on a report of a hit-and-run accident.
According to police reports, the driver of a black Chevy Silverado truck struck a motorcycle and left southbound on Moreland.
The male motorcycle driver reported that the female driver had left the scene and that his back hurt as a result of the collision.
Waukesha police later managed to take the driver of the Silverado into custody. Reports stated the eriver was taken into custody on suspicion of OWI.
