Officials say officers will patrol in greater numbers and for longer hours to help limit impaired drivers. Here's when:

WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — Drivers in Waukesha County might be aware later this month that more Sheriff''s depubites are on the road. That's because the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department is participating in the ‘Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over’ initiative Aug.17 through Sep. 3.
Sheriff's officials say that During the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” initiative, officers will patrol in greater numbers and for longer hours to help prevent impaired drivers from killing or injuring themselves or someone else.
While alcohol-impaired drivers remain a significant problem, officials cite drugged driving - people whose ability to safely operate a motor vehicle is compromised by legal or illegal drugs including prescription and over-the-counter medications — to be a growing menace on area roads.
