'Strange Woman' Steals Waukesha Yard Signs, Bothers Neighbors

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police responded to the 2900 block of Willard Lane just after 6 a.m. on a report of a suspicious person.

According to police reports, a woman in her 30s wearing black running clothes came up to their door, rang the doorbell and when the resident answered, the woman called the resident a disgrace because they had a "we back the badge" sign.

She reportedly took the sign and ran off.

According to police, multiple families in the area experienced the same bizarre behavior from the neighbor in question, who reportedly rang three families' doorbells up to 50 times.

Eyewitnesses stated she would state "unusual things" and then run off.

The woman put one of her stolen yard signs back.

Officers went to the woman's door but there was no answer. No criminal complaint was wished against the woman at this time.
