Stubborn Waukesha McDonald's Customer Arrested: Report

Waukesha police say they had to pepper spray a McDonald's drive-through customer who wouldn't leave even though McDonald's was closed.

WAUKESHA, WI -- Waukesha police were called to the McDonalds on S. West Ave. just after 2 a.m. on Dec. 6 on a report of a stubborn customer in the drive-through.

According to reports, the driver, later identified as Nathan J. Weber of Waukesha, and a passenger had been sitting at the drive-through window for about five minutes despite restaurant employees' calls that the restaurant was closed. Reports indicated that Weber, and the passenger were in the vehicle were swearing and yelling at staff as he one of them struck the drive-through window with their hand.

Waukesha police told Patch that officers attempted to take Weber into custody, though he refused to exit his car. Police said that officers on-scene were forced to use pepper spray to get Weber from the car.

According to court records, Weber was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and resisting an officer in Waukesha County Circuit Court. The passenger has also been charged with disorderly conduct and resisting an officer.
