A student who was accused of stealing a bike was reportedly chased through yards and into a school, as his pursuers shouted racial slurs.

WAUKESHA, WI — A student who was accused of stealing a bike was reportedly chased through yards and into a school, as his pursuers shouted racial slurs.

Waukesha police responded to South High School just before 1 p.m. Saturday on a report of a student who was chased into the school by two adult males.

According to police reports, the student told authorities that he was accused of stealing a bicycle.

Reports indicated that two adult males originally chased the student into the lobby of the school, and made statements that they were there to beat him up, while using racially-charged language.

The person who called police, a staff member at the school, reportedly had to step in to keep the verbal altercation from becming physical.

Reports indicated the suspects' vehicle was a maroon pickup truck that was last seen headed northbound on Tenny from Waukesha South. A person who also called police stated the male driver was yelling racial slurs at three youth who were seen running through yards.
