Student Had 63 Child Porn Images On School iPad: Report
An 18-year-old Waukesha man has pled guilty after authorities found multiple child porn images loaded on his school-issued iPad.
WAUKESHA, WI -- An 18-year-old Waukesha West High School student pled guilty to possession of child pornography stemming from a December 2017 case.
According to court records at the time, James Utzerath got a ticket in Dec. for skipping school. A subsequent investigation by police revealed that Utzerath had 63 "images depicting explicit images of child pornography," 25 images "depicting sexual contact with animals and five videos depicted animal beastiality" loaded on his school-issued iPad, according to a criminal complaint filed in Waukesha County.
According to Waukesha County Circuit Court records, Utzerath could face up to three years behind bars if he is convicted of the two felony possession of child pornography charges filed against him.
