Suspect Flees Officers At 90 MPH Through Waukesha
Waukesha police attempted to stop the driver of a vehicle, only to have the driver flee through Waukesha at more than 90 miles per hour.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police attempted to stop the driver of a vehicle, only to have the driver flee through Waukesha at more than 90 miles per hour.
A total of eight squads were dispatched to the police call, which came in just after 10 p.m. Monday evening.
According to police reports, a Waukeha police officer on patrol was driving in the area of Broadway and Hartwell, with the suspect vehicle driving directly in front of the officer.

The officer observed erratic driving behavior, and the vehicle had equipment on it that was not functioning properly, according to police.
According to reports, the officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop in the area of E Racine Ave and E College, but the vehicle fled. Reports indicated that the driver passed Broadway and Racine at about 90 miles per hour.

According to police, police pursuit was terminated near the BP at Lincoln and Highway 164 for safety considerations.
The driver fled, entering eastbound I-94 from Moreland.
