Tactical Situation Causes I-94 Shutdown In Waukesha County

A source from a local business said they were advised to shelter in place due to a high-speed chase and a man with a gun.

WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI -- All lanes of I-94 between Highways F and P in Waukesha County have been closed on account of a tactical situation.

The report came in Tuesday afternoon at about 4:57 p.m. All lanes of Highway 67 at Delafield Road are also closed, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

According to a WISN-TV report, an employee at a local business said their office was asked to shelter in place due to a high-speed chase involving a man with a gun.

Authorities are expected to release more information during a press conference scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

An eyewitness video submitted to FOX 6-TV shows a sheriff's patrol vehicle pursuing a minivan. In the video, you can hear the sounds of gunshots being fired.
