Thursday Fire at Waukesha Business Reported by Delivery Driver

Waukesha police and fire responded to the Reinders Inc. building just before 5 a.m. Thursday on a report of a structure fire.

WAUKESHA, WI — An early-morning fire at the Reinders, Inc. building was stopped after a delivery driver called in a report of smoke and flames while he was making a stop at the business.

Waukesha police and fire responded to the Reinders Inc. building just before 5 a.m. Thursday on a report of a structure fire.

According to reports, smoke and flames were visible just before 5 a.m. and the apparent fire was called in by a FedEx driver who was making a stop at the business early in the morning.

When emergency responders arrived at the scene, they noted that flames were seen inside the building and were coming out of the roof, and that a nearby semi trailer had caught fire, according to the report.

By just after 5 a.m. the fire was considered under control and by 5:38 a.m. it was reported that the loss had been stopped.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
