Tool Thieves Burglarize Same Waukesha Business Twice in One Day

Waukesha police responded twice to the Boyd Property Services on the 1300 block of Ellis St. for a report of multiple burglaries.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police responded twice to the Boyd Property Services on the 1300 block of Ellis St. for a report of multiple burglaries.

According to police, when the owner arrived Monday morning to begin business, he noticed an open overhead garage door, and a large amount of power tools missing.

When police investigated further, they learned that a possible screwdriver-like tool could have been used to breach the lock on the overhead garage door.

Later in the day, according to police, the apparent tool theft suspect was at it again - this time just after 3 p.m. The report stated that after a burglary earlier in the day, the suspects returned to the scene of the crime and stole more equipment.
