Five people were safely evacuated after a Town of Waukesha Fire on Kame Terrace Ct. broke out early Wednesday morning.

WAUKESHA, WI — Five people were safely evacuated after a Town of Waukesha Fire on Kame Terrace Ct. broke out early Wednesday morning.
On Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at 2:06 am, the Town of Waukesha Fire Department and the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department responded for a report of a residential structure fire at W275 S2146 Kame Terrace Ct. North in the Town of Waukesha.
Additional assistance was requested from the City of Waukesha, Village of North Prairie, Town of Vernon, and Wales Genesee Fire Departments.

The fire was reported to the Waukesha County Communications Center by the homeowner. Five adults safely evacuated the residence and required no medical treatment. The fire caused substantial property damage to the residence and the attached garage.
The Town of Waukesha Fire Department Command requested fire investigation from the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department. The initial cause of the fire is unknown at this time and the incident remains under investigation.
