The Republican Race

Nebraska Republicans gave their vote to Donald Trump, giving him all of the state's 36 delegates. Trump also cruised to an easy victory in West Virginia Tuesday evening.

There was a little drama earlier in the day when Ted Cruz emerged from a brief silence to appear to throw some cold water on Trump.

According to The Hill, the Texas Senator told Glenn Beck that while he does not expect to win the Nebraska Primary, if that were to happen, he would reconsider his decision to suspend his campaign.

Trump won essentially by default in the West Virginia primary, after both of his remaining competitors dropped out following Trump's Indiana victory last week.

The Democratic Race

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders scored a West Virginia victory Tuesday, spurring him forward on what he calls an "uphill climb" to the Democratic presidential nomination.

Even as pundits look ahead to a Hillary Clinton-Donald Trump showdown in the general election, Sanders has committed to staying in the race, a stance that was only bolstered by his win in West Virginia Tuesday.
