Two Arrested After Fight At Cousins, Man Charged: Police

WAUKESHA, WI — Police say a man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery after he assaulted a woman at a Cousin's Sub Shop.

Waukesha police were called to the Cousin's Subs just before 3 p.m. Tuesday on a report of a domestic disturbance.

Waukesha police told Patch.com that a woman was standing in front of a car, and a man in the car was trying to push her out of the way.

Upon the arrival of police, both the man and the woman were uncooperative and refused to cooperate with officers.

Police told Patch.com that witnesses inside the business gave officers information that both the man and had been acting disorderly. One witness stated they saw the man punch the woman, take her phone away, and then “dragged her into the bushes”.

Police said that both the man and woman were arrested but that the man was determined to be the predominant aggressor in the fight, and was arrested for domestic battery.

No names are being released until they can be charged by the Waukesha County District Attorney's office, police said.
