'Ubiquitous' Police Patrols Look For Mischief-Making Youth

Police heard from an area residents who stated that there has been more youth in the area causing various mischief.

WAUKESHA, WI — A group of several youngsters gained a "ubiquitous" police presence in a Waukesha neighborhood Sunday night after a report that they were damaging a stone retaining wall.

According to police reports, the group of about six boys were reported to police on the 1400 block of Big Bend Road just after 11 p.m. Sunday.

There was no reported damage to the retaining wall, but officers found several bricks displaced.

Officers observed the group of children several times, however they ran from police several times upon seeing squad cars.

Police saturated the area with extra patrols for a time in hopes of detering further mischief.
