UW-Waukesha Associate Dean Died Tuesday Morning

associate dean, Phil Zweifel, passed away early Tuesday morning, according to an e-mail sent to campus faculty and staff.

“I can’t begin to express how sad I am personally and how saddened the entire UW-Waukesha and UW Colleges communities are at this news,” said Harry Muir, UW-Waukesha’s dean, in the e-mail to campus employees. “Phil is and always will be an important part of the fabric that binds this community together.  Please keep the Zweifel family in your thoughts and prayers this holiday season.”

Funeral arrangements are pending. The UW-Waukesha campus is planning a Jan. 7 memorial service for Zweifel but further details are pending.
