UW-Waukesha Teachers, Students Escorted By Police After Threat
A number of UW-Waukesha teachers and students were escorted to their vehicles by police on Tuesday after a report of threatening texts.

WAUKESHA, WI — A number of UW-Waukesha teachers and students were escorted to their vehicles by police on Tuesday after a report of threatening text messages sent by a suspect.
A person contacted Waukesha police stating that she has been getting threatening text messages from an unknown party saying that they will be coming out to UW Waukesha to talk to her and that they are going to ruin her life. The Threats included the name of the building she was in.
Texts started the previous night The woman who called police stated that she was concerned that someone is outside waiting for her.

UW-Waukesha requested that an officer walk students and teachers to their vehicles midday Tuesday after the report of the text messages.
According to the report, the person who called police was escorted to the police station just before 3 p.m. and her vehicle was checked for tracking devices.
