Vacant Apartment Complex Broken Into Again

Waukesha police responded to the 300 block of Coolidge Ave. on a report of a burglary in progress.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police responded to the 300 block of Coolidge Ave. on a report of a burglary in progress.

Police responded to the apartment complex just after 8:30 p.m. Sunday evening. According to police reports, juveniles were seen breaking into the building and were observed by an eyewitness via a remote camera.

The only description the witness could provide is that the suspects were wearing red and white tennis shoes and possibly shorts.

Waukesha police responded to the 12-unit vacant building. They were joined by the Waukesha County Sheriff's office and the New Berlin K9 unit.

The suspects were last seen headed upstairs in the building, however when police made the search of the building, they were not located.
