Voter Survey Aims To Unearth Disability Issues At The Polls

Officials want to know whether there were any accessibility or disability voter access issues at the polls.

WISCONSIN - Nearly one million Wisconsin adults voted in the Aug. 14, 2018 fall primary election, according to preliminary results analyzed by the Wisconsin Elections Commission - the highest turnout since 2002 for a primary.

The Wisconsin Disability Vote Coalition is conducting a survey to learn more about voter experiences in Wisconsin during the primary election. Officials want to know whether there were any accessibility or disability voter access issues at the polls.

Organizers say the results of this survey will help coalition members and organizations have a clearer picture of what the accessibility issues are for Wisconsin voters and how they feel about their voting experiences. People who complete the survey will be able to view the results later this fall at the Wisconsin Disability Vote Coalition website.
