Wanted Waukesha Man Arrested in Whitefish Bay After Running From Police

A man wanted by the Waukesha County Sheriff was arrested by Whitefish Bay police after he failed to stop for a stop sign ... and then ran.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — A Waukesha man was arrested in Whitefish Bay after police pulled the man over for failing to stop for a stop sign, only to have the man unsuccessfully trying to run from officers.

Police say that Jeremy J. Berra was stopped on the 4800 block of N. Navajo Ave. in Whitefish Bay on May 29 for the apparent moving violation.

According to reports, Berra initially identified himself as another person shortly before he took off running and was later located on a bike path behind the 4800 block of N. Lydell.

Police learned Berra had two warrants for his arrest through the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office. Berra was transported to jail on charges of possession of narcotics, possession of prescription drugs without a valid prescription, resisting and obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.
