Wanted Waukesha Man Tased, Arrested On David Ct.

A man wanted since Nov. 2 was arrested, but not before he was tased by police.

WAUKESHA, WI — A man wanted on charges of drug possession and resisting an officer was taken into custody Thursday - but not before he was tased, police reported.

According to Waukesha County court documents, Ryan Schweitzer, 44, Waukesha was charged on Aug. 2, however, was found to be non-compliant with his bond orders. An arrest warrant was issued on Nov. 2 for Schweitzer.

According to Waukesha Police reports, officers responded to an apartment on the 1500 block of David Ct. just after 10 a.m. on Thursday on a report of Schweitzer's whereabouts.

Reports indicated that officers forced entry into the apartment, where he was taken into custody after an apparent struggle inside the apartment. A taser was deployed in order to bring Schweitzer into custody, according to reports.
