WISCONSIN -- As the curtain on political theater draws open during early 2017, Americans were treated to the end of one era and the beginning of another.

President Barack Obama delivered his farewell address in an emotional and heartfelt speech on Tuesday, Jan. 10, at McCormick Place in Chicago.

One day later, on Jan. 11, President-Elect Donald Trump staged his first press conference as the person elected to be the nation's top office-holder.

He held the news conference at Trump Tower in a room jam-packed with reporters, his family and other members of his administration. It was shown on all the major cable news stations and on network news.
