Watch Suspect Steal Gun From Waukesha Man's Truck: Report
According to police reports, a truck owner said a man stole a gun, and later posted a photo on Snapchat. It led authorities to his arrest.

WAUKESHA, WI -- Police in Waukesha say they've arrested the person responsible for breaking into a Waukesha man's truck and stole a firearm inside the cabin.
According to a Waukesha resident who wishes to remain anonymous, a suspect was captured on surveillance footage, entered his truck on Saturday morning and was seen rummaging around in the cabin.
According to the truck owner, a firearm was located inside the truck, and the suspect took the gun. The resident told Waukesha Patch that the man later posted the gun on Snapchat.

The owner alerted police, and officers later responded to the 400 block of Maple Street. During the course of their investigation, officers arrested the man, later identified as Marco Alexander Valerio. Court records showed that Valerio had a prior charge filed against him earlier in January for carrying a concealed weapon.

According to court records, Valerio has been charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court with one misdemeanor count of theft-movable property. His initial appearance is scheduled for Feb. 4.
The truck owner said police managed to recover the firearm from Valerio and it is currently being held as evidence.
