Waukesha Bar Patrons Came To Woman's Aid In Altercation: Report

WAUKESHA, WI — Police in Waukesha say that a 44-year-old Waukesha man was arrested on suspicion of battery and disorderly conduct following a physical altercation on the 500 block of Lincoln Ave. on the night of May 1.

According to police reports, the man was arrested after a fight at an address that lists to the Lincoln Pub.

Police told Waukesha Patch that the man struck a woman who was acting in an aggressive manner, only to have other bar patrons come to her aid to detain the man until police could arrive.

Police said the man was booked and later released.
