Waukesha Biking, Running Man Now In More Trouble: Police

Police in Waukesha say a man wanted for possession of drug paraphernalia after he fled officers twice in one evening.

WAUKESHA, WI — Police in Waukesha say a man wanted for possession of drug paraphernalia after he fled officers twice in one evening.

Waukesha police responded to the area of W. Newhall Ave. and S. West Ave. just after 3:30 p.m. on March 29 on a report of a domestic disturbance.

Waukesha police told Patch.com that an officer on patrol in the area recognized a man on a bicycle as having a warrant out for his arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said he fled from officers at the scene. Later, officers continued their investigation on the 300 block of Jackson Court, only to have the suspect turn up again. This time, police said he fled officers on foot and managed to evade officers again.

According to police, the man has yet to be located and now likely faces an additional charge of obstructing an officer.
