Waukesha Car Theft Suspect Left Behind Blood, iPhone

A vehicle break-in on College Ave. resulted in police collecting both the suspect's iPhone, but a blood sample as well.

WAUKESHA, WI — A vehicle break-in on College Ave. resulted in police collecting both the suspect's iPhone, but a blood sample as well.

Waukesha police responded to the 300 block of W. College Ave. just afer 9 p.m. Friday on a report of a vehicle break-in.

Acccoring to reports, an unlocked vehicle had the driver's side window broken out, and the steering column and other property was damaged inside the vehicle.

The owner believed it happened sometime between 8:40 and 8:50 p.m. that evening. The suspect's blood and iPhone were located inside the vehicle, according to police, which led them to the suspect's identity. Photos and evidence were further collected and a follow-up investigation will be conducted.
