Waukesha Deputy Injured In Squad Crash

A Waukesha County Sheriff's Deputy sustained minor injuries after their squad car was involved in a crash while responding to a call Sat.

WAUKESHA, WI — A Waukesha County Sheriff's Deputy sustained minor injuries after their squad car was involved in a crash while responding to a call Saturday night.

On August 5, 2017 at approximately 8:03 pm, deputies from the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department were responding to an emergency call in the Town of Ottawa.

While in the area of Hwy D and Moraine Hills Drive in the Town of Ottawa a deputy sheriff operating a fully marked squad car was involved in a single vehicle crash.

Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department, Wisconsin State Patrol and Dousman Fire Department responded to the scene. The deputy sustained minor injuries and was transported to Waukesha Memorial Hospital by Dousman Fire Department.

The accident is being investigated by Wisconsin State Patrol and remains under investigation.
