Waukesha Drunk Driver Hit Brick Wall: Police

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police responded to the area of Summit Ave. and N. Grandview Blvd. just before 7:30 p.m. Jan. 25 on a report of a hit-and-run accident.

According to police reports, a 911 caller reported a hit-and-run crash. Police told Waukesha Patch that the 911 caller was following a vehicle that was driving recklessly on N Grandview blvd. The suspect vehicle struck a brick wall and continued on, turning east on Summit Ave.

According to police, officers located the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run. The operator of the striking vehicle was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
