WAUKESHA, WI -- October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and to raise public awareness, The Women’s Center and the Waukesha Police Department have partnered to call attention to the prevalence of domestic violence in Waukesha County.

Purple silhouettes remembering those who have lost their lives to domestic violence will be on display throughout the month on the grounds of the Waukesha Police Department and The Women’s Center.
