Waukesha Man Arrested On Drinking Charge: Report
He's now being held in the Waukesha County Jail on a $2,000 cash bond.

WAUKESHA, WI — Police in Waukesha say they arrested a man on suspicion of his latest drinking offense after he did not show up for court.
According to police reports, an officer was called to the 400 block of W. Moreland Blvd. on a report that the 52-year-old Waukesha man was under a court order to observe strict sobriety. When an officer administered a preliminary breath test, the result came back as .048.

Court records indicated that the man had been charged in Sept. 2018 with his third drunk-driving offense, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a vehicle with a prohibited blood alcohol concentration and was due in court on March 1.
According to court records, an attorney representing the man told a Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge that the man's non-appearance at a March 1 court appearance was because he could not secure transportation for the hearing.

A warrant for his arrest was issued later that day. About a week later, he was arrested. He's now being held in the Waukesha County Jail on a $2,000 cash bond.
