Waukesha Man Arrested For Vehicle Break-In: Report
Reports state the property owner scared the man rummaging through his car, causing him to run.

WAUKESHA, WI -- Police in Whitefish Bay say that a 56-year-old Waukesha man has been arrested after he was seen breaking into a vehicle on the night of Oct. 2.
According to Whitefish Bay police, a resident on the 6300 block of N. Santa Monica Blvd. saw a man enter his unlocked Ford Escape just after 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 2. Reports state the property owner scared the man rummaging through his car, causing him to run through his yard and then north on N. Santa Monica Blvd. before he lost sight of him.
At 2 a.m., Whitefish Bay police say they found the same suspect carrying a plastic grocery bag and dripping in sweat on foot in Whitefish Bay. He was arrested on suspicion of loitering/prowling and was transported to Aurora Sinai for medical clearance before being placed in jail.
