Waukesha Man Falsely Reports 'Police Officer In Trouble'

According to reports, eight squads were initially dispatched to the call.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police were put on alert Friday night after a person called police, stating an officer was "in trouble" at an apartment complex on the 1900 block of Kensington Drive just after 10:30 p.m.

According to reports, eight squads were initially dispatched to the call, however, a relative of the person who called police, called them back immediately afterward and informed police that the man was "paranoid" and made the call from Pewaukee.

Officers made contact at the Waukesha apartment complex just to make sure, and reported that nothing suspicious was seen or heard.

The relative stated that the man had mental health issues and has called other departments in the past in similar manners.
