A Waukesha man was transported to the emergency room early Saturday morning after he was reportedly stabbed with a steak knife from his own home during a fight.

Waukesha police responded to the area of S. Grand Ave. and Estberg Ave. just after 3:30 a.m. on a report that a man had been badly beaten up, and had been left to wander the streets of Waukesha.

Waukesha police and rescue caught up with the man, who was in his 20s and had lacerations to his hands, face and a stab wound to his forearm.

Waukesha police responded to the residence of the apparent suspect and established a perimeter, although no contact with the suspect was made.

Domestic Disturbance on Macarthur

A Waukesha man was taken into custody just before 10 p.m. Friday after a report of a domestic disturbance on the 2100 block of Macarthur Road.

According to police, a woman's boyfriend was punching another man in the face, and the person who called police was slammed against the wall, causing a hand injury.

The person who called police stated that the man was unstable at the time and had anger problems.
