Waukesha Man Tased By Police After Threatening Approach: Police

According to police reports, a man and woman had been involved in an apparent dispute when police were called.

WAUKESHA, WI — A Waukesha man was tased by police during the course of a domestic dispute after police reported that the man approached a responding officer in a threatening manner.

Waukesha police were dispatch to an apartment complex on the 400 block of Wisconsin Ave. on Nov. 17 on a report of a domestic disturbance.

According to police reports, a man and woman had been involved in an apparent dispute when police were called.

Waukesha police told Patch.com that when responding officers arrived on the scene just after 6:30 p.m. that both the man and woman involved were outside. Upon seeing the police the man began to advance in an aggressive manner toward an officer.

Police said that after repeated requests for the man to stop and calm down, the officer was forced to deploy his taser. One person was arrested. No injuries were reported during this incident.

Police told Patch that in order to maintain the integrity of the judicial process, no more information was available at this time.
