Waukesha Metro Market Opens Wednesday

Waukesha's Metro Market, 2160 Silvernail Road, Pewaukee officially re-opens Wednesday after an extensive remodel.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha's Metro Market, 2160 Silvernail Road Pewaukee officially re-opened Wednesday after an extensive remodel.

The site of the Metro Market is the old Pick 'n Save store, which has been there for the last 15 years. Updates and upgrades that will be unveiled include a made-to-order fresh meal station, a made-to-order smoothie station, a gourmet popcorn stand, an expanded cheese section, pizza by the slice and a barbecue station where meats are smoked in-house each day.

“Our store remodels and expansions are part of an overall Roundy’s initiative to update our stores and the in-store customer experience to meet the needs of today’s shoppers,” said James Hyland, vice president of communications and public affairs for Roundy’s Supermarkets, Inc., in a prepared statement.
