Waukesha Metro Transit Announces Holiday Bus Schedule

(METRO) will operate the following service during the holiday period:

• Saturday, Dec. 24 – All Metro routes and Metrolift will operate as scheduled until 5:50 p.m. The last trips leave the Downtown Transit Center (DTC) at 5:50 p.m.   Milwaukee County Transit (MCTS) Route 10 will operate a Saturday schedule.
• Sunday, Dec. 25 – No service on Metro and Metrolift. MCTS Route 10 will operate a Sunday schedule.
• Monday, Dec. 26 – Metro, Metrolift and MCTS Route 10 will operate a Sunday schedule. The Transit Center Customer Service Window will be closed.   MCTS Route 79 and Wisconsin Coach Lines Routes 901, 904, 905 and 906 will not operate.
• Tuesday, Dec. 27 – Friday, Dec. 30 - All services will operate as scheduled.
• Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011 – Metro Routes 1-9, 15 and Metrolift will operate as scheduled and include extended evening service until 3:30 a.m. New Year’s Day.  After 7 p.m., service will be free until 3:30 a.m. New Year’s Day. The last buses will leave the Downtown Transit Center at 2:50 a.m. MCTS Route 10 will make connections with Route 1 at Brookfield Square until 3 a.m.
• Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012 – No Metro or Metrolift service after 3:30 a.m. MCTS Route 10 will operate a Sunday schedule after 4 a.m.
• Monday, Jan. 2, 2012 – Metro, Metrolift and MCTS Route 10 will operate a Sunday schedule. The Transit Center Customer Service Window will be closed.   MCTS Route 79 and Wisconsin Coach Lines Routes 901, 904, 905 and 906 will not operate.
• Tuesday, Jan, 3, 2012 – All services will operate as scheduled.
