Waukesha Nerf Gun Battle Picks on Wrong Truck Driver

The ongoing Nerf gun battle between high school students resulted in another police call after they scared the wrong truck driver.

WAUKESHA, WI — The ongoing Nerf gun battle between high school students resulted in another police call after they scared the wrong truck driver.

Waukesha police responded to the intersection of Sentry Drive and W. Sunset Drive on a report that a truck driver was waiting at a red light at this intersection when a burgundy Toyota Camry pulled up next to him and someone in the back seat had a BB gun and shot at the truck driver.

According to the police report, the Toyota had four teenagers in the vehicle and "nicked" his truck.

When police investigated the incident, they tracked down the teenagers at their registered address, where children and their parents were advised on their behavior.

The children explained that the gun they used was not a BB gun, but in fact, a Nerf gun and that they were part of the Junior versus Senior Nerf gun battles going on at North High School.
