Waukesha Officer Injured In Arrest Of Unruly Bar Patron: Report
Police said an officer on patrol was flagged down by security at Donnie Boys regarding a disorderly patron at the bar.

WAUKESHA, WI — A 25-year-old Madison man was arrested and charged after police say he caused a disturbance at Donnie Boys and later caused an injury to a Waukesha police officer during the course of his arrest.
According to Waukesha police reports, officers responded to the 300 block of W. Main Street just before 2 a.m. on April 19 on a report of disorderly conduct.
Police said an officer on patrol was flagged down by security at Donnie Boys regarding a disorderly patron at the bar.

According to police, when the officer attempted to make contact with the suspect, later identified as Cody Rodell, he fled on foot.
Police said Rodell was eventually apprehended, though an officer sustained a significant knee injury during the course of the arrest.

According to court records online, Rodell has been charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct and felony resisting arrest.
