Waukesha Parking Ramp Scare Turned Out To Be Fireworks: Report
When a Waukesha resident thought they heard gunshots at a downtown parking ramp, they called police.

WAUKESHA, WI -- Waukesha police responded to the Waukesha City Parking Ramp at 241 South St. just after 8:30 p.m. Saturday on a report of juvenile trouble.
According to reports, a resident called police, saying they were concerned that a group of young men ran from the parking ramp after hearing about eight gunshots come from inside the ramp.
Reports indicated that a number of nearby apartment residents told police they believed they saw multiple flashes at the time of the incident.

When police went out to the scene, police blocked off the entrance to the ramp, and staged an entry team outside.
Police searched the ramp floor-by-floor to determine the cause of the sounds.

When police got to the third floor, they found evidence of fireworks that had been lit off. When police reviewed surveillance footage, they could not see the specific individuals responsible for lighting off the fireworks, on account of them looking down and having hoods drawn tightly on their heads, according to reports.
