Waukesha Police Arrest Man Speeding To Court Case: Report
Police say a man blew stop lights and failed to stop for officers. During his arrest, he reportedly said he was late to a court case.

WAUKESHA, WI -- Police in Waukesha say they arrested a man following a police pursuit in which the driver was speeding because he was late to a court case.
According to police reports, officers responded to the area of Meadow Lark Lane and N. Moreland Blvd. just after 10 a.m. on Nov. 19 on a report that a driver went through two red lights and was reportedly driving 60 miles per hour on Moreland.
Police said they saw the man speeding and driving recklessly and tried to stop him to no avail. The driver continued for roughly one-third of a mile before ultimately stopping for officers, reports said.

Police said the man, a 35-year-old from Waukesha, was arrested on suspicion of multiple charges. According to police, the driver told the arresting officer that he was late for a court case and that he was out on bail for theft.
