Waukesha Police Arrest Sex Offender After Chase: Report

The report stated that he was fleeing officers and ended up in an apartment complex on the 1500 block of Big Bend Rd.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police reportedly caught up with a registered sex offender out of Milwaukee who had been a wanted man since Oct. 2017 for a sex offender registry violation.

Waukesha police told Patch.com that Lamar Hibbler went through lock-ups Tuesday at the Waukesha County Jail and has now been charged with resisting or obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct. He was held on a $750 cash bond in the Waukesha County Jail.

According to the police report, police received a report that Hibbler was in the area of Big Bend Rd. just before midnight on March 11.

The report stated that he was fleeing officers and ended up in an apartment complex on the 1500 block of Big Bend Rd. in the Sunset Apartments. Police set up a perimeter around the building, and Hibbler eventually surrendered without incident.
