Waukesha Police Disarm 12-Year-Old With Butcher Knife
Waukesha police responded to the 300 block of W. Roberta Ave. just before 4 p.m. Tuesday on a report of a man with a knife.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police removed a butcher knife from the hands of a 12-year-old boy Wednesday after a group of five children were reportedly play-fighting with the dangerous implement.
Waukesha police responded to the 300 block of W. Roberta Ave. just before 4 p.m. Tuesday on a report of a man with a knife.
According to police reports, five younger children were reportedly playing outside with a butcher knife and slashing at each other with it.

The person who called police stated it did not look like the youth were "playing around" and it appeared they were attempting to hurt each other with it.
The person who called police also stated they did not see any adults around. According to the report, the male with the knife was a 12-year-old child.

Police responded to the area and removed the knife from the children, and handled the dispute peacefully.
