Waukesha Police Investigating Discovery Of Dead Body: Report

According to Waukesha Police call logs, a person out walking on the morning of Aug. 11 reported finding the body of a man in a wooded area.

WAUKESHA, WI — Police in Waukesha say they're not ruling anything out after a passerby reported finding a dead body in the woods.

According to Waukesha Police call logs, a person out walking on the morning of Aug. 11 reported finding the body of a man in a wooded area near the railroad tracks near the 800 block of E. Moreland Blvd.

Police say the body was partially decomposed at the time of its discovery, that the area it was found was typically inhabited by homeless people, and that the Medical Examiner took possession of the body for analysis.
