Waukesha Police Looking For Hit-And-Run Driver: Report

Police say the person that was hit was treated for their injuries, however the hit-and-run driver remains at large.

WAUKESHA, WI -- Police in Waukesha say they searching for the driver of a vehicle that hit a pedestrian on the night of Oct. 25. Police say the person that was hit was treated for their injuries, however the hit-and-run driver remains at large.

At just after 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 25, Waukesha Police and first responders were called out to the area of Arcadian Avenue and Highway 164 for a crash involving a sedan and pedestrian. Police said that the driver who struck the pedestrian fled the scene of the crash.

Police released surveillance footage, which is viewable here. Police say that at the 40-second mark you will see an individual walk across the street in the upper left hand corner of the video. At the one-minute mark the person gets struck by a sedan.

Police say they are looking for the driver of a newer model dark sedan. Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the vehicle, and the person who was behind the wheel at the time of this crash.
