Waukesha Police Searching For Armed Robbery Suspect

Waukesha police have released photo of a suspect wanted in an armed robbery at Chase Bank.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police have released photos of a suspect wanted in an armed robbery at Chase Bank in which the suspect threatened a drive-up ATM customer with a knife.

Waukesha police responded to the Chase Bank at 101 W. Broadway just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday on a report of an armed robbery.

According to Waukesha police reports, a man was robbed at knifepoint at the ATM by a man in his 30s or 40s, who threatened to stab him "multiple times." The suspect reportedly had two knives on him, and was last seen wearing a hoodie, and plaid jacket. The victim told police that he lost the suspect around the church by Wisconsin and Grand.

Waukesha police established a perimeter in the area, and deployed a police strike team and the department's K9 unit. Reports indicated that the K9 unit had a track that disappeared in an area parking lot.
Waukesha police are continuing to investigate the incident.
