Waukesha Police Searching For First Federal Bank Robber

Authorities say a man held up Waukesha's First Federal Bank Tuesday afternoon. Police are continuing to search for the suspect.

WAUKESHA, WI — Police in Waukesha are searching for a suspect accused of robbing the First Federal Bank on Tuesday afternoon.

Waukesha police say the suspect is a white man who stands 5-foot-3 with a thin build. The sweatshirt he was wearing during the robbery read "I got twisted at Twisted Sisters" according to police.

The Incident

Police were called to the bank at 1801 Summit Ave. just after 1:20 p.m. Tuesday on a report of a bank robbery in progress.

According to police reports, a silent hold-up alarm was activated during the course of the robbery. The person who reportedly robbed the bank did not display or imply a weapon during the course of the hold-up, and was last seen running south on Grandview Blvd.

According to reports, efforts to track the suspect were not successful.
