Waukesha Residents Help Police Catch Car Burglar: Report

According to police reports, one man was reportedly rummaging through neighbor's vehicles.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police were dispatched to the 300 block of Darlene Drive just after 6:30 a.m. on a report of a theft in progress.

According to police reports, one man was reportedly rummaging through neighbor's vehicles. Reports indicated that an apparent victim chased after the suspect, and contributed to his arrest.

Police told Waukesha Patch that the responding officer assisted in securing and arresting the suspect, Lucas L. Gonzales.

Police told Patch that Gonzales was arrested on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon, bail jumping, possession of stolen property, disorderly conduct, a probation violation, possession of burglarious tools, entry into a locked vehicle and possession of an electric weapon.
